Description: Exo Terra's Glass Terrarium line is a long-standing favorite among reptile and amphibian keepers for its front-opening double-door design, which allows full access to the enclosure's interior without having to reach in from above and disturb plants, décor, or a resting animal — a meaningful advantage over top-opening tanks for skittish or arboreal species. The raised screen top improves ventilation while still containing smaller escape-prone species, and the base is built with enough depth and structural integrity to support deep bioactive substrate setups incorporating live plants, springtails, and isopods for a self-cleaning ecosystem. Its all-glass construction offers clearer viewing than plastic or PVC enclosures and holds up well to the humidity levels many amphibian and tropical reptile species require. Sizing is critical here — the tank should match the specific space, humidity, and climbing or burrowing needs of the species being kept rather than simply choosing based on the animal's current size, since reptiles and amphibians often grow substantially from juvenile to adult.
