Description: A basking lamp fixture creates the concentrated, elevated-temperature zone that most diurnal reptiles rely on to properly thermoregulate, since species like bearded dragons and many other lizards actively move between a hot basking spot and cooler areas of the enclosure throughout the day to manage their body temperature. Repti Zoo's fixture accepts standard basking bulbs, giving keepers flexibility in choosing wattage to hit their species' specific target basking temperature rather than being locked into a fixed-wattage bulb.
